Wir besuchten in Volgograd zuerst eine Gedenkstätte für die Schlachten im 2 Weltkrieg, sie war auf einem Hügel und wir hoffen, hier einen besseren Überblick zu bekommen - wir trafen Russ. Motorradfahrer, die uns unter ihre Fittiche nahmen und dafür sorgten, das wir Unterkunft und wo benötigt auch Hilfe fanden

In Volgograd we stopped on a Hill which turned out to be a war memorial site. We were hoping to get a better idea about where to find what here - we did find Russian Bikers who took us under their wing and made certain that we got a bed, watered, fed and help where needed

Hier möchten wir uns noch einmal in aller Form beim Motorradclub von Volgograd bedanken. Sie nahmen uns nicht nurauf, sondern gaben uns auch noch VIP Behandlung, sorgten dafür, das wir alles hatten, was wir brauchten ( Rücklichtbirne, neuer Campingkocher, Postkarte..)nahmen uns mit zu einem Rockkonzert mit Feuershow, brachten uns aus der Stadt und aud den richtigen Weg als wir weiterfahren wollten und versorgten uns mit Telefonkontakten entlang der Route.

We want to use this space to send our special thanks to the bike club Volgograd. They gave us VIP treatment (bosses bedroom), took care that we got evering we needed (like camping stove, Bulb for backlight,Postcard...) took us to a rock concert with fire show, took us out of the city and to the road straight to the border and even made shure we'd have phone contacts along our route
